The alternative – the Managed Account

Owing to their increasing complexity and growing number, financial products today are hardly coherent anymore in terms of manageability and transparency. With the objective to conjoin liquidity, complete transparency and strict risk limitation, portfolio diversification and tradability in rising and falling markets without short sales, an alternative investment instrument has been established: the “Managed Account”.

Transparency in trading

In contrast to funds, certificates and other products, the client opens an account in their own name at a custodian bank and grants the Managed Account manager a limited trading authorization on the basis of which merely the paid in capital may be managed and traded. By means of online access, the owner of the Managed Account can see information at any time about the account balance and transactions in their trading account, or stop trading and dispose over the paid in capital. The client will maintain full powers of disposition thereby, and furthermore receive transparency and have the managed assets available.
